Industrial manufacturer of hydraulics, fluid controls, and quick-connect products needs an Outside Sales Representative to network, act as a technical liaison, and manage projects to obtain new sales success.
- Work with end users in industries including automotive, construction, medical, marine, transportation, wind energy, etc.
- Work closely with stakeholders (i.e., customers, sales staff, engineering, procurement, operations, etc.) to understand and achieve all project needs and priorities.
- Conduct presentations and provide clarifications to customers and colleagues (both in-person and digital.)
- Develop a pipeline of qualified personal business-to-business sales opportunities (short term, mid-range, and long-term.)
- Perform site visits as needed.
- Follow-up on sales leads.
- Technical background needed and must include understanding of hydraulics.
- Candidates should have 4 to 7 years’ experience in industrial product sales (pumps, hoses, couplings, pneumatics, etc.)
- Prefer candidate living near company location in Northern Chicago suburbs.
- Travel 50% throughout the Midwest.
