What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flight Controls Engineer position at Executive Recruiting Group?
We are looking for a Flight Controls Engineer in San Luis Obispo, CA who is responsible for developing vehicle flight dynamics models, conducting stability and control analysis, providing guidance to support configuration design and trade-off studies, as well as designing the vehicle flight control laws for the Primary Flight Control System and the Automatic Flight Control System.
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong grasp of flight modeling, stability, and control fundamentals and is able to draw from their previous experiences in fixed-wing or rotorcraft dynamics and control.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering area, with a Master's or Doctorate Degree is preferred.
4 years of experience with fixed-wing or rotorcraft modeling or flight control development.
