Shape the Future of Flight : Senior Flight Control Engineer at PDS Tech Commercial

Salary : 61.80 - 82.40 per hour | Location : Central Coast, CA (On-Site)

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Senior Flight Control Engineer to help develop cutting-edge flight control systems for next-generation rotorcraft, eVTOL, and CTOL aircraft. What You’ll Do :

Lead the development of advanced flight dynamics simulations and adaptive control systems for reconfigurable aircraft.

Design and test optimal flight control laws, ensuring superior performance and safety.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to bring innovative aircraft technologies from concept to flight.

Own the full design lifecycle, from simulation to flight testing, driving real-world solutions.

What We’re Looking For :

Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering or related field, with 10 years of flight control and simulation experience.

Proven expertise in aircraft dynamics and control system simulation.

Strong experience with UAS and manned aircraft design, flight test maneuvers, and system identification.

Familiarity with FAA and Military control system standards.

Open to US Persons. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and / or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies : 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Skills :

Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and 15 years of experience.

Expertise in non-linear controls and emerging technologies like machine learning.

Advanced risk management and flight test analysis skills.

Pay Details : 61.80 to 82.40 per hour
