What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Intern - Supply Chain position at Exela Pharma Sciences?
As a summer intern in Supply Chain at our Manufacturing Pharmaceutical company, interns will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain operations within the pharmaceutical industry. Working closely with our supply chain team, you will contribute to the critical projects aimed at optimizing processes and ensuring the efficient flow of materials through our manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing supply chain data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support inventory control efforts by monitoring stock levels, reconciling discrepancies, and assisting with inventory optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, track shipments in transit, and resolve any transportation issues that may arise.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to ensure alignment and collaboration across departments.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Prior internship or coursework related to Supply Chain or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
