Duties And Responsibilities

- Review and implement employee/ employer health and safety measures
- Support fire prevention and awareness
- Oversee the management of the service center, optimize repair processes, and ensure quality service for customer products.
- Oversee the management of logistics including receiving, shipping, customs, and ensuring timely delivery of products using ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Be hands on and prepared to assist various department tasks, packing, receiving, documents, as needed
- Oversee the facility management (such as but not limited to IT support, phones, health and safety, office supplies, building, parking lot, maintenance, cleaners, repairs, security system, card access)
- Support HR by assisting with new employee orientation
- Regularly appraise / coach / discipline to improve the skill, motivation, knowledge, and attitude of employees as it relates to job performance and their impact on the organization
- Manage, maintain and improve the existing ISO9000 system as needed
- Other duties as related to Service or facility management as may be deemed necessary
- Education: Engineering degree in electronics or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the electronics field and at least 2 years in a managerial role is an asset.
- Proficiency in fiber optics and facility management is an asset.
- Familiarity with customs and logistics procedures is an asset.
- Solid understanding of ISO systems and their management is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong sense of quality and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and initiative in addressing challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong technical background to support the Service Center effectively.
