Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for each brand in the licensing portfolio, ensuring alignment with both the individual brand’s goals and the overall company objectives.
- Customize brand positioning, messaging, and communication strategies based on the target audience and market dynamics for each licensed brand.
- Develop unique campaign concepts for each brand, considering the specific requirements and market positioning, while ensuring consistency in overall branding.
- Collaborate with licensing partners to align on brand direction, product launches, and marketing initiatives, ensuring that brand guidelines and standards are met.
- Oversee and manage marketing budgets for each brand, ensuring effective allocation of resources across campaigns and initiatives.
- Monitor and report on budget performance, ensuring that campaigns stay within the allocated budget and deliver optimal ROI.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales) to ensure that all marketing efforts for each brand are aligned with product offerings and company objectives.
- Coordinate with the sales team to create tailored marketing materials and strategies that support brand growth and product sell-through.
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns for each brand, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement
- Provide regular reports (monthly and quarterly) to senior management and licensing partners on field marketing performance, insights, and actionable recommendations.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing content for each brand, including advertisements, social media posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate and manage promotional events, product launches, and brand activations for each licensed brand, ensuring that each event is aligned with the brand’s marketing goals.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive brand ambassador strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing goals, including ambassador recruitment, training, and management.
- Prepare and own the execution and reporting of state-wide field marketing programming (demos etc.).
- Demonstrate an understanding of the brand strategy and the competitive landscape in which the brand operates:
- Including the understanding of the key competitors, general market conditions, and the dynamic retail environment, etc.
- This would include “real-time” understanding of what is driving our products and category trends in the marketplace.
- Manage Marketing Departments by creating and executing marketing campaigns in dispensaries.
Pay range: $70000 to $80000 per year
Required skills
- 2 years or more of cannabis marketing or field marketing experience
- Experience working in a retail enviornment
- Success in collaborative and innovative environments
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Must be 21 years of age or older & have reliable transportation
Preferred seniority
Overall: Mid-level (2-5 years) or higher
Cannabis industry: Some (1-2 years) or higher
