Employee Engagement Coordinator
Position summary:
At the Exit Planning institute (EPI), the Employee Engagement Coordinator will work within the Operations department and is responsible for various human resource functions, including but not limited to employee satisfaction, benefits, professional development, and administration of company policies. The ideal candidate for this position has proven expertise in a human resources related role, is proactive and professional, and is enthusiastic about enhancing job satisfaction, driving continuous learning, and fostering a positive work culture. To execute this role effectively, an individual should be capable of maintaining, supporting, and growing the organization's talent, culture, and operational functions while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Responsible for the implementation, improvement, and expansion of company policies
- Manage employee benefits and annual renewals as well as development of new benefits
- Assist hiring managers by posting open positions online, reviewing resumes, and conducting and scheduling interviews
- Responsible for general new hire coordination and onboarding tasks including laptop and workstation setup as well as the preparation and presentation of necessary documents
- Works with employees to understand professional development needs, interests, and opportunities
- Responsible for distribution and analysis of employee satisfaction survey
- Coordinate team bonding days and activities
- Responsible for maintaining and coordinating items on the admin calendar related to internal meetings, holidays, employee PTO, etc.
- Act as a third-party observer for employee reviews
- Responds to employment verifications
- Liaison with external IT for technical issues or needs of employees
Position qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development or related field preferred
- Experience in an HR, employee engagement, culture development, or similar role required
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to build relationships, influence, and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail
Salary and benefits (starting salary based on experience)
- Status: Full time (hybrid, Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM)
- Starting salary: $50,000 – $60,000 (depending on experience)
- Upon 90-day review: Eligible to enroll in the EPI Insurance Program (Health, Vision, and Dental all available), Eligible to enroll in EPI’s 401k program, and Eligible for use of Unlimited Paid Time Off
