Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee daily bar operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage inventory and staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of mixology, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service.
Staff Supervision & Training:
- Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff.
- Schedule shifts and manage staff performance.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions.
Inventory & Cost Control:
- Manage stock levels and place orders with suppliers.
- Monitor and control beverage costs and waste.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and update cocktail menus, pricing, and promotions.
Customer Service & Experience:
- Ensure outstanding customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Engage with patrons to enhance their experience.
- Handle special events, private bookings, and promotions.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bar Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of mixology, beverages, and bar operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and cost control effectively.
- Knowledge of POS systems and financial reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
