Job Description: Area Lighting Pole Replacement Technician Lead
Position Overview: Exo is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Area Lighting Pole Replacement Technician Lead to join our team. This role involves traveling across the country to replace area lighting poles at major retail locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, building, or manual labor, and proven leading teams on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team in replacing area lighting poles at various retail locations nationwide.
Coordinate all onsite activity of the team members, electricians, and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
Perform a variety of manual labor tasks including loading and unloading materials, perform concrete drilling, and operating power tools and equipment safely and efficiently, along with other related tasks.
Supervise all removal and replacement of area lighting poles.
Perform routine maintenance checks on the equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
Ensure all work meets specified standards and quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Crane operation or rigging experience a plus.
Adhere to strict safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Proven experience as a team lead, supervisor, or foreman on construction sites or related field.
Strong background in construction work, building or manual labor.
Proficiency in power tool operation (Hammer drills, Concrete drills, Impact Wrenches, etc.)
Overhead crane or rigging experience.
CDL or DOT driving with a trailer a plus.
Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks for extended periods, including walking long distances on uneven terrain while carrying up to 50 lbs.
Basic understanding of safety and protocols in a work environment.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to travel a minimum of 95%.
Valid Driver’s License with an approved MVR.
Class A CDL, a plus
