Job Description: Area Lighting Pole Replacement Technician
 
Position Overview: Exo is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Area Lighting Pole Replacement Technicians to join our team. This role involves traveling across the country to replace area lighting poles at major retail locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, building, or manual labor, and proven experience with power tools, experience in concrete drilling is a plus.  
Key Responsibilities: 
 
 
  1. Perform a variety of manual labor tasks including loading and unloading materials, perform concrete drilling, and operating power tools and equipment safely and efficiently, along with other related tasks.
  2. Replace area lighting poles at various retail locations nationwide.  
  3. Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks as needed.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  5. Perform routine maintenance checks on the equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
  6. Operating overhead spider crane.
  7. Assist with construction related activates such as removing poles from foundations and drilling foundations to replace replacing anchor rods 
  8. Mix apply concrete to remediate foundations.
  9. Ensure all work meets specified standards and quality.
  10. Crane operation or rigging experience a plus.
  11. Adhere to strict safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
 
 
 
Qualifications and Requirements: 
 
  • Previous experience in general labor, construction, manufacturing or related field is preferred.
  • Ability to perform fieldwork efficiently work with hand tools and proficient use of a shovel to excavate.
  • Proficiency in power tool operation (Hammer drills, Concrete drills, Impact Wrenches, etc.)
  • Overhead crane or rigging experience.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks for extended periods, including walking long distances on uneven terrain while carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic understanding of safety and protocols in a work environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks or skills.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 95%.
  • Valid Driver’s License with an approved MVR.
  • Class A CDL a plus

Physical Requirements  
 
  • Strength and Stamina:
Strength: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects and equipment.
Endurance: Capability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods without excessive fatigue.
  • Coordination and Dexterity:
Hand-eye Coordination: Essential for operating machinery and tools accurately.
Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle tools and materials skillfully and safely.
  • Flexibility and Balance:
Flexibility: Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
Balance: Maintaining physical stability while performing tasks, especially on uneven or unstable surfaces.
  • Physical Health:
Healthy Back and Joints: Essential due to the repetitive bending, lifting, and carrying.
Cardiovascular Health: Good overall physical fitness to handle strenuous activities.
 
 Pay Scale: $21.50 - $25.50
