The Quality Assurance Manager
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for setting up quality systems, helps maintain approved supplier status and leads organization sites through respective requirements, audits and examinations. Will conduct quality inspections to ensure continuous improvement on products, materials, and components comply with established quality standards.
Fundamental Requirements:

Technical Skills:
· Expertise in mechanical inspection tools & setup
· CMM experience
· Mentorship of junior inspectors preferred
· Mechanical inspection of all stages of manufacturing
· Inspection with mechanical tools such as Micrometer, calipers, pin gauges
· Blueprint reading (ANSIY14.5)
· Completion of detail inspection reports
· Maintenance of metrology tools and calibration
· Coordinate measuring machine
· Supervisor experienced preferred
· Completion of certificate of conformance and ITAR data packages
· Refined ability with GD&T
· Experienced in aerospace manufacturing
· Experienced with AS9100
· Traceability logging
· Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement a robust-auditing system of the Quality Management System
· Lead each site in AS9100 training and compliance, assuring all employees properly prepared for annual recertification and audits
· Identifies difficult quality issues in design, process or other inefficiencies to meet quality requirements
· Conduct examinations and quality control inspection on products, materials and components at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards
· Prepares and completes all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/ rejection of inspected and/or tested items
· Performs routine quality inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies and tooling
· Skilled at measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job assignment
· Complete and maintain inspection records
Education & Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 2-5 years of relevant experience
· 5 years aerospace quality experience
· Quality Manager and Quality Engineering certification desired
Compensation:
Compensation will be commensurate upon industry standard and level of experience. Based upon strong representation of all skills above, compensation package will be:

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
