As a Cybersecurity Technician at EXOS CYBER, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity measures for our clients. This role is suitable for individuals with 1-3 years of general IT knowledge and 0-12 months of specific cybersecurity experience. You will work closely with cybersecurity experts and IT teams to safeguard our clients' networks, systems, and data against cyber threats. The responsibilities include the following : Assist in the deployment and configuration of cybersecurity tools and technologies such as endpoint detection and response, SIEM, email filtering and endpoint protection solutions. Monitor security alerts and notifications from various systems and tools and escalate potential security incidents to the appropriate personnel for investigation. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits on clients' networks and systems to identify weaknesses and potential risks. Collaborate with the IT support team to ensure that security patches and updates are applied in a timely manner across all systems and devices. Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices for our clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide end-user training and support on cybersecurity awareness topics such as phishing awareness, password hygiene, and data protection. Assist in the response and mitigation of security incidents, including incident containment, eradication, and recovery efforts. Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development activities.1-3 years of experience in general IT support or related field. Basic understanding of networking principles, operating systems, and IT infrastructure. Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as threat detection, incident response, and risk management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to cybersecurity. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security practices. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security or other cybersecurity certifications
