Responsibilities:
We’re seeking a Sport and Recreation Coordinator to join our team. As our new teammate you will:
- Plan, organize, and facilitate a variety of recreational and sports programs tailored to tenant employees.
- Manage daily operations of sports and recreation activities within the corporate wellbeing center.
- Coordinate and schedule leagues, tournaments, and drop-in games to promote engagement and inclusivity.
- Foster a welcoming and energetic environment by building relationships with employees and encouraging participation.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of all sports and recreation equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with company leadership to align programs with corporate wellbeing goals.
- Track participation and assess program effectiveness, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sports management, intramural activities, recreation programming, or a related area.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate participants.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Passion for promoting health and wellbeing through sports and recreation.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships within a corporate or community setting.
- Experience developing and leading sports leagues, tournaments, and wellness-focused activities.
- Familiarity with corporate wellness initiatives and engagement strategies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
