Job Summary
ExoTerra is a world leader in solar electric propulsion systems and space exploration satellites. The company develops Hall Thrusters, propulsion modules, microsatellites and launch vehicle upper stages. We have been awarded multiple propulsion module and satellite contracts.
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead development and delivery of a solar electric propulsion module.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage the budget, schedule and margins for a solar electric propulsion module
- Serve as company point of contact with customer
- Oversee technical designs and trades
- Manage the project staff and tasking
- Oversee resolution of development issues during design, manufacture and test
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Engineering or Physics Bachelor's degree
- 15-30 years experience with satellite system design, fabrication and test
- Working knowledge of satellite subsystems and design drivers
- Experience managing project budget, schedule and staff
Desired Skills
- Background in spacecraft systems, GNC or propulsion engineering.
- Knowledge of space environments and design implications
