What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Store & Warehouse Associate position at Exotic Automation & Supply?
Exotic Automation and Supply is currently looking for a Retail Store/Warehouse Associate to join the team in a full-time capacity at our Noblesville, IN location.
This position is a hybrid role supporting both the Warehouse and our Retail Store. It is a great opportunity for the right candidate to demonstrate the capability to influence positive change in an exciting, dynamic, and growing company while building a comprehensive knowledge of the business.
Position Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Monday – Friday
Essential Job Functions:
- Receiving and locating product.
- Pulling orders and manifesting to customers.
- Assemble and crimp hoses for a diverse customer base.
- Safety operates hand tools, power tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures.
- Drive and operate hi-lo.
- Willingness to make deliveries and operate trailer.
- Greeting and servicing customers.
- Continuously develops knowledge of products.
- Processes all requests for quotes (RFQs) and follows up to ensure orders are booked.
- Processes all returns according to RMA procedures (cash and credit).
- Maintains inventory and performs all required cycle counting.
- Maintains cash drawer and performs weekly cash deposit transactions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Previous work experience preferred.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to use a computer for basic tasks.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Organizational skills required to prioritize, plan and coordinate work activities and resources in area of responsibility.
