Customer Service Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with inquiries, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems effectively to process sales and returns.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services to assist customers with their needs.
• Supervise and train new staff members in customer service protocols and procedures.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and refunds.
• Communicate clearly with customers over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to enhance customer experience.
• Support team members as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.

Job hours M-F 8:30- 5 Saturday 12-5 Closed Sunday

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
