The Challenge  

We are seeking an Construction Inspector to join our project site in Tuscan, Arizona. 

Principle Areas of Responsibility:

• Reads and analyzes designs and blueprints, recognizing the architect’s and engineer’s intended use; ensure design and actual construction elements match 
• Demonstrates understanding of the principles of multiple construction disciplines, to include Architectural, and Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering 
• Validates quality of workmanship by construction team aligns with contract expectations, specified codes, and company standards
• Inspections material, equipment, and furnishings by use of x-ray and/or visual inspection, for those items designated for use within the secure areas of the construction site or facility 
• Assists in the selection of materials required for construction and installation and take part, as needed, in decertification of containers 
• Monitors un-cleared workers during designated phases of construction
• Analyzes designs, structural complexities, and construction elements for potential intentions to mask an ulterior purpose not wanted by the architect.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite work to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.  

Required Qualifications

• Have at least 5 years of experience in construction inspection, technical and construction quality assurance
• Ability to navigate difficult terrain to include unfinished flooring, scaffolding, confined spaces, or other occupational hazards such as heights for long durations in respective elements. 
• Capable of independent decision-making, possess a high degree of individual initiative, and function with minimal supervision

Salary Base:

This position has a salary range based on contractual requirement. The actual salary is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
