Be our next Engineer - Site Civil!
Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the Site Civil team based in Columbus OH, Southfield MI, St Louis MO, Atlanta GA with consideration for hybrid work arrangements. The professional will focus on Site Civil / Land Development projects supporting the Buildings, Telecommunications, and Mission Critical practices nationally. Project types and clients will vary with opportunities to be involved in projects across the United States.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Prepares engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various aspects of site development projects under the supervision of an engineering manager.
- Designs grading and drainage elements for site improvements.
- Properly coordinates utility conflict resolutions and designs utility piping systems when required.
- Analyzes site plan layout with attention to pedestrian circulation and vehicle movements.
- Prepares erosion control documents including permitting and SWPPP submittals.
- Performs hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for gravity and pressure piping systems.
- Coordinates with multi-disciplinary teams as needed to finalize all design details.
- Performs construction assistance related tasks including responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), visiting job sites, reviewing submittals, and coordinating needed revisions (some travel may be required)
- Works with dynamic design teams including architects, engineers, land use attorneys, surveyors, and contractors.
What your experience looks like
The salary range for this role is $72,000 to $90,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
