$46 - $51 per hour

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to define model specifications, develop analytical capabilities using advanced techniques, and maintain financial models. Responsibilities include verifying analytical results with independent models, researching new financial products, collaborating on analytical software development, and preparing requirements documentation for developers. Strong analytical skills and financial modeling proficiency are essential.
 
Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst: 

• Define or recommend model specifications or data collection methods
• Develop core analytical capabilities or model libraries, using advanced statistical, quantitative, or econometric techniques
• Devise or apply independent models or tools to help verify results of analytical systems
• Maintain or modify all financial analytic models in use
• Research new financial products or analytics to determine their usefulness
• Collaborate in the development or testing of new analytical software to ensure compliance with user requirements, specifications, or scope
• Prepare requirements documentation for use by software developers
• Create pivot tables in Microsoft Excel to represent data
• Reconcile financial data as needed

Qualifications of the Finance Analyst: 

• Month-end general ledger reconciliation experience
• Experience using SQL to query financial data
• Strong Excel skills and experience with other Microsoft Products
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Ability to reconcile financial data
• Self-starter who is detail-oriented as well as open, honest, and trustworthy
• Strong detail orientation

The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
