This role involves ensuring timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within our Transcon Department. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively to support our network and deliver high-quality services to our customers.
- Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely cargo movement.
- Consolidate and route shipments based on profitability and customer expectations.
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries of location shipments.
- Enter accurate and timely data into our operational system.
- Follow up on and monitor active shipments for key shipment milestones.
- Utilize departmental tools (workflow/activity reports) to execute daily responsibilities.
- Ensure accurate and timely customer and service provider billing.
- Interact with customers to coordinate appointments, provide milestone updates, and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain good relationships with service providers, customers, and other Expeditors departments/offices.
- Meet compliance standards for regulations internal and external to government regulations.
