Revenue Cycle Supervisor

The Revenue Cycle (RC) Supervisor Lead is responsible for the supervision of the RC team, troubleshooting escalated issues, identifying trends. Understands payer guidelines and has the knowledge to properly ensure claims are paid reducing denials. The Supervisor will oversee the RC team members, to ensure that requests for support received is completed in a timely manner. This position is responsible for reviewing all fees schedules for payment variance by the plans, as well as auditing accounts for quality controls. Communicating to management any issues / trends regarding claim error front end / back end denials.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Monitors team productivity to ensure team / department goals are met. Responsible for assigning work to team members to ensure tasks are completed as expected
• Communicates staffing issues to senior management
• Identify workflow errors and work with Manager to develop team members.
• Assist Manager with staff training to ensure consistency and to maximize utilization of software applications.
• Review and respond to daily correspondence regarding RC Support, such as statements, refund requests, Fee Schedules, account audits, etc.
• Meet routine deadlines by holding team accountable for meeting the department’s end of the month goals. Assisting with month end closing process and reporting.
• Complies with and ensures that employees comply with operational policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs quality control audits and reports findings with management.
• Performs any daily work such as working claim errors, claim edits, refund request, weekly / monthly reports
• Projects assigned by management.
