Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls using effective phone etiquette and direct them to appropriate personnel.
- Perform patient insurance verification and authorizations.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members.
- Maintain an organized front office environment, including managing office supplies.
- Perform proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Provide support as a personal assistant to executives or team members as needed.
- Operate phone systems efficiently to handle inquiries and relay messages.
- Collaborate with medical staff if applicable, ensuring seamless communication between departments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or office management roles.
- Experience in insurance verification and authorizations.
- Strong calendar management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with phone systems and professional phone etiquette.
- Experience as a medical receptionist is advantageous but not required.
- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills to ensure high-quality documentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in standard office software applications.
