Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and contract with suppliers for goods and services.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet organizational needs.
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to payment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor and control procurement spending.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement documentation
Requirements:
- 5 years of procurement experience.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
- Knowledge of NYC Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules, local laws, New York State and Federal regulations, and the City Charter
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
