Responsibilities
- Act as the primary authority in all areas of occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, and plant security for the facility.
- Develop and maintain policies and resources for site security, including conducting investigations when required.
You will review work practices to ensure safety-related policies and procedures are being followed and enforced, and organize required training in all departments to increase safety awareness and adherence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Environmental Health & Safety or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years EHS management experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
- Demonstrated technical competencies in safety regulations and best practices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
You should have strong interpersonal, communication, and team-based skills, and be committed to continuous improvement.
