About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Coordinator to join our team at Experis, a Manpower Group Company. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary authority in all areas of occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, and plant security for the facility
- Develop and maintain policies and resources for site security, including conducting investigations when required
- Execute and support corporate safety directives and assist in determining corrective behavior for potential safety problems
- Review work practices to ensure safety-related policies and procedures are being followed and enforced
- Organize required training in all departments to increase safety awareness and adherence
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Environmental Health & Safety or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two (2) years EHS management experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food or beverage industry
- Demonstrated technical competencies in safety regulations and best practices
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-based skills are essential
