Safety Compliance Officer

EHS Coordinator Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced EHS Coordinator to join our team at Experis, a Manpower Group Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining policies and resources for site security, as well as conducting investigations and executing corporate safety directives.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain policies and resources for site security, including conducting investigations when required
2. Act as the primary authority in all areas of occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, and plant security for the facility
3. Review work practices to ensure safety-related policies and procedures are being followed and enforced
4. Organize required training in all departments to increase safety awareness and adherence

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Environmental Health & Safety or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two (2) years EHS management experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food or beverage industry
• Demonstrated technical competencies in safety regulations and best practices
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-based skills are essential
