Experis is partnering with a semiconductor firm in Boise to hire an Engineering Technician (Electronics) to join their team. This will be an onsite position.

- Supports memory module and component validation
- Supports Power Distribution Network and inductor validation
- Supports engineering activities such as test, check-out, modification, assembly of prototype electrical systems, experimental design circuitry, or specialized test equipment.
- Uses manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.
- Applications may include analog, digital and logic systems.
- Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
- Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
- Assists in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment.
- Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions.
- Expert solder skills for attaching test leads and 0201 size discrete components, installation/removal of SOIC and BGA packages
- Requires detailed and accurate data collection
- 2-5 years of experience.
