Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Interim Plant Controller to oversee the overall accounting, plant financials, budgets, forecasts, and internal controls for our client's Texarkana, AR plant. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact on the organization's financial health and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly/quarterly financial reporting, forecasting, and special analyses for the plant.
- Ensure processes are compliant with GAAP and Company Policy.
- Identify actionable cost reduction and cash flow generation opportunities; analyze potential plant investments, restructuring, budget changes, etc.
- Understand, summarize, and communicate clearly the financial/operating results of the plants to measure progress against objectives and assess the effectiveness of decisions made.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree with a concentration in a business-related field (i.e., accounting, finance, economics, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years of progressively more responsible experience in accounting/financial analysis preferably in a plant setting
