What's the Job?
- Overseeing and coordinating the migration of data, applications, or systems from one environment to another (e.g., from on-premises to cloud, or between different platforms).
- Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets related to the migration process.
- Collaborating with various teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders, to ensure smooth execution of the migration project.
- Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies for the migration process.
- Ensuring that the migration follows best practices and complies with relevant security and data protection standards.
- Coordinating testing and validation of migrated systems to ensure data integrity and functionality.
- Facilitating communication between different teams and stakeholders involved in the migration project.
- Tracking project progress and providing regular updates to management and other relevant parties.
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including migration plans, schedules, and reports.
- Helping to resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the migration process.
