Education:
- Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree or a high school graduate with 3 years of database management and operations experience.
- The individual must possess a fundamental understanding of excel, database management, and possess exceptional organizational skills.
- Relevant database management experience, including attention to detail, organization, and ability to detect and resolve exceptions and issues.

Responsibilities:
- Incumbent will work with Discovery Research publication leads to evaluate and ensure publications meet compliance and intellectual property requirements before submission into the IP Manager Intellectual Asset Management System.
- Act as the point person for tracking Discovery Research publications from initial conception to approval to publishing. Position will oversee not only the tracking of items in the system, but final disposition of the item (published, journal change, presented, stopped, etc.).
- Answer Discovery inquires on the IP Manager Intellectual Asset Management system; the incumbent will be the first point of contact for Discovery Research questions.
- Various other projects on an "as needed" basis.
- Responsible for entry of RRTI request into IP Manager Intellectual Asset Management System and Datavision
- Ensure Discovery publications are tracked in Smartsheet with easy access to information such as external authorships, link to existing contract or other legal obligations with external authors.
- Work with the authors to file and track all documents (information for release as well as prior approvals and publication) to support compliance with publication policies.
