As an Experitec Order Management Associate in our Order Fulfillment team there is a responsibility and focus on servicing and continuing strong relationships with Experitec’s customers by fulfilling orders efficiently and accurately.

What does the Order Management Associate do?
The Order Management Associate is an administrative position which will impact multiple responsibilities across the business depending upon the business needs. This includes building a strong understanding of the execution side of our operations business for order processing and procurement. The position will develop a basic understanding for our products and services and the customers we serve. The Order Management Associate will be the liaison between customers and suppliers through closure of the order assuring adherence to customer requests and communicating order information and status to the customer.
Responsibilities may include:
Reviewing order requirements for customer purchase orders, acknowledging the order to the customer, and completing order entry and procurement into the business system.
Placing, managing and expediting orders with Emerson and other suppliers to maintain schedules and meet customer expectations.
Maintaining Proactive Order Management (POM) on all orders entered.
Developing an understanding of customers’ purchase order requirements, systems, and process requirements to add value and build customer loyalty.
Regularly confirming and documenting the status of all deliverables with the customer.
Building and maintaining relationships with customers’ purchasing, expediting, and operations staff.
Utilizing MS Office Applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and other technology tools.
Understanding the processes, tools, systems, and technology to effectively manage order fulfillment, procurement, maintain required schedules, and communicate problems and requirements.
Supporting other departments to meet customer demands and requirements.
Acting as Customer Service interface for order fulfillment.
Interfacing with sales, warehouse personnel, sales associates, customers, and supplier’s representatives for daily communication and work.
Performing general administrative duties.
Prioritizing various competing tasks and performing them quickly and efficiently according to their urgency.
This position is part of our Order Management team within the Operations organization with the specific title of Order Management Associate.

Required Skills, Experience & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree OR associate degree with two or more years of relevant work experience OR high school diploma with four or more years of relevant work experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Two or more years of relevant experience involving processing and management of customer order and related transactional processing.
Ability to work in office Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm and to occasionally work additional hours upon request.
Experience leading a function or task by influencing and motivating non-direct reports.
Working knowledge and experience with inventory management systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook email, and basic computer skills.
Dedication to a safe work environment through housekeeping, workplace safety, etc.
Strong ability to focus on customer’s needs and drive toward business goals.
Strong ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) across teams.
Ability to stay highly organized and self-motivated through shifting priorities.
Strong ability to multi-task and problem-solve in Experitec’s collaborative team environment while maintaining detailed, accurate records.
Ability to drive for the company with a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass driving record background check.
Ability to infrequently utilize personal vehicle for work travel and rent a car when requested by supervisor for work travel.
Preferred Skills, Experience & Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree OR associate degree.
Five or more years of relevant experience involving processing and management of customer order and related transactional processing.
Prior experience with an ERP system.
Two or more years of experience in procurement.
Experience leading a process improvement initiative to completion.
Experience with service expansion initiatives that impacted the business.
