Human Resources Specialist
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Saturdays as needed)
Overview:
This role supports HR functions, focusing on recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and compliance. The specialist will assist with hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, and policy implementation while ensuring accuracy in payroll processing and maintaining employee records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding – Source and screen candidates, coordinate job postings, conduct reference checks, and manage new hire processes.
- Employee Relations – Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, assist with workplace issue resolution, and facilitate communication between employees and management.
- Payroll & Benefits – Process payroll, address discrepancies, maintain benefits records, and ensure compliance with compensation policies.
- Training & Compliance – Assist in organizing employee training sessions, ensure adherence to labor laws, and maintain up-to-date HR documentation.
- Performance & Reporting – Support performance reviews, conduct audits, and maintain accurate records in HR systems.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; HR-related degree preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) with strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of HR procedures, payroll processing, and compliance regulations.
- Experience with ADP or similar HR systems preferred.
This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple HR functions efficiently.
