Schedule: (2nd Shift) 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Pay Range: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Lead to oversee daily shipping operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scheduling, training, and operational procedures, with the ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflow.
- Train and mentor team members in safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).
- Coordinate schedules to ensure proper staffing and efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with management, HR, and other departments to address any operational needs or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Shipping Lead.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and SSOP requirements.
- Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
