Aerospace Quality Supervisor

Expert Staffing has partnered with a local manufacturing company that is seeking a skilled Aerospace Quality Supervisor.

Payrates up to $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per per year

First shift Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Perform first article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machine programs and tools as needed to ensure proper set-up and performance.
• Document and report non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
• Maintain quality assurance records and follow company procedures for compliance with aerospace industry standards.
• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure product quality and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the aerospace industry is required.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and using precision measuring tools.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Familiarity with CMM operation and programming is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve CNC machine issues effectively is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
