As a caregiver, you will assist with life skills, communication, and other needs to help the individual live their best life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living tasks such asmeal preparation, house chores and community inclusion
- Offer support with communication and social skills development
- Help create a structured routine and promote independence
- Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to build confidence and skills
- Monitor emotional and behavioral well-being, providing necessary support as needed
- Assist with any other tasks or needs as required
Requirements:
- Experience with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus, but not required
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor
