We are currently looking for a caring and compassionate Direct Care Worker in the Southwest Detroit area to join our team. Hours are flexible for work-life balance, afternoon availability required. No experience necessary! Apply now!
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18
- Be able to pass a background and driving record check
- Valid driver’s license with car insurance
- Clean driving record (No more than 3 points currently)
- Reliably show up to shifts (Afternoon shifts ranging from 2pm to 4pm starting time)
- Caregivers must complete required training before starting with their recipient (we will provide paid training after job offer)

- Provide compassionate one to one support in homes
- Assist with daily activities such as meal prep, dressing, hygiene prompting as required
- Work with the recipient on the goals in their individual plan of service to help them become as independent as possible (these goals vary)
- Help provide engaging and stimulating activities
- Monitor and ensure the individual’s safety and well-being
- Implement care plans
- Engage in skill-building activities that empower and encourage growth
- Help individuals nurture their personal goals
