Position: Caregiver
Hours: Start time around 3 pm. Weekends optional!
Starting Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of Recipient.
- Engage Recipient in meaningful activities, conversations, and companionship.
- Help Recipient perform tasks, for example, laundry, tidying living spaces, and ensuring overall cleanliness.
- Assist with errands within the local community.
- Maintain accurate daily records of care provided.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for caregiving.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, or assisting with mobility (up to 40lbs).
- A valid driver’s license with auto insurance and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
