Job Type : Full Time Location : Skokie, Illinois Pay : Competitive Pay & Benefits! Job Description What you will be doing :
Apply and maintain a solid understanding of general accounting principles.
Execute day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of business accounting practices.
Handle all aspects of business financial management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and monitor budgets.
Assist in forecasting financial trends and providing insights into potential financial risks and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
Generate and distribute regular financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
Present financial information in a clear and concise manner to facilitate decision-making.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience you will need :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent qualification is highly desirable but not required.
Proven experience in general accounting and business accounting.
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
