Your Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for software applications
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to review functional requirements and design test plans
- Implement automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and SoapUI to streamline testing
- Perform integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing to ensure system stability
- Report and track defects, troubleshooting issues, and working with developers for resolution
- Utilize DevOps tools (Jira/Xray, Selenium, GitLab, Octopus Deploy) to support continuous integration and deployment
- Conduct security, accessibility, and stress testing to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Document test strategies, best practices, and provide knowledge transfer to team members
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 5 years of Quality Assurance experience, with expertise in both manual and automated testing
- Strong background in automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, SoapUI)
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jira/Xray, GitLab, and Octopus Deploy
- Experience working with web-based applications, web services (SOAP/REST), and database systems
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with law enforcement or criminal justice systems
- Knowledge of security, performance, and accessibility testing best practices
- Background in programming languages commonly used in test automation
- Experience working in a government or public sector environment
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
