Supplier Quality Engineer – EE & M
Responsibilities
To manage industrialization of Customer Monitored parts:
To guarantee that lessons learnt from previous projects and current production are considered for a new industrialization on a supplier site, by communicating to the CQC (Corporate Quality Champion), for the initial review with the supplier, the list of industrial risks related to this supplier site. § To guarantee the maturity of the supplier site launching the new parts § To deliver part delivery agreement for Customer Monitored parts, for every main milestone, in relation with acceptance technician After Tooling Kick off: - To monitor the tools and process planning. - To contribute to the Qualification of Product and Process (APQP) of Customer Monitored parts with the supplier, by: § guaranteeing the production of deliverables related to process items, § performing the PPQ process qualification to propose the supplier process qualification acceptance to engineering responsible § validating capacity assessment § To identify & resolve the risks, § To manage the process issues § To contribute to the escalation process in project phase. § To evaluate the impact of Stellantis origin modifications on industrialization by supplier, and alert at relevant level. § To guarantee the compliance of parts produced in supplier sites he is responsible for and ensure nominal operation without incidents ▫ Industrial performance in current production (quality, logistics, industrial efficiency) To contribute to the selection of suitable suppliers and to the panel management § To communicate to the CQC his opinion on supplier site, coming from the analysis of site structural risks and lessons learnt, and to define risk management actions plan to implement in case the site is awarded new business. In the frame of escalation processes, to propose and to argue in relevant commission the QIP certification removal, the entering in ISO status special, the entering in escalation process,
§ Ensure compliance of parts produced in supplier sites & responsible to ensure nominal operation without § Industrial performance in current production (quality, logistics, industrial efficiency) § Secure the respect of contractual (process control plans) § Ensure that the supplier respects his warning duty, and report and alert if needed towards relevant Stellantis authorities concerned by the parts produced in the supplier site. § Protect PSA production from quality issues and take emergency decisions in case production risk could impact PSA § Identify and communicate the risks, § Manage quality crisis resolution until PDCA has been finalized in the frame of current production escalation process. § In case of logistic crisis, keep informed of supplier action and assist if needed Supply Chain team & Risk management team § Manage continuous improvement of the site with supplier site top level management and validate current life evolutions.
Qualifications
BE Mechanical/ Electrical & Electronics
Essential skills
· Knowledge of Quality, Solving Problem Methods, Lean tools, P- FMEA, Statistical Process Control · Knowledge of industrialization processes, project management, product design engineering · Knowledge of logistic operating modes · Knowledge of purchasing and supplier relationship, information confidentiality mastery · Certified CQI 23, 17 & USCAR
Experience
Min 12 years of Automotive Experience in EE & M Component Development and Management
