Your Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize financial data processes within PowerPlan and SAP
- Support month-end close activities and master data setup
- Coordinate with IT for system updates and issue resolution
- Manage system tickets and triage Level 1 report requests
- Build reports and execute advanced Oracle SQL queries for financial data extraction
- Work with stakeholders to validate data, ensure proper approvals, and execute user acceptance testing
- Drive ad hoc projects and identify opportunities for system/process enhancements
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 5–7 years of systems/business analysis experience in finance/reporting environments
- Expertise in dynamic and advanced Oracle SQL (outer joins, subqueries, etc.)
- Experience with PowerPlan and SAP (or similar financial systems)
- Strong cross-functional coordination and communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Self-driven with the ability to manage priorities with minimal supervision
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with Oracle SQL Developer tools
- Background in financial data governance or capital project reporting
- Familiarity with S4 HANA transition projects
Education & Certifications You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Information Technology
