Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues across different departments
- Collaborate with operations team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment, identifying areas for repair or replacement
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a steel production environment, preferably in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or degrees in a related field
- Familiarity with quality management systems and environmental regulations is beneficial
