Explore Academy Rio Rancho is seeking to hire a teacher with a K-5 elementary teaching license. This position is focused on 4th grade. The ideal candidate for this position would be teaching students in both content areas. This position requires the teacher to teach STEM (Mathematics and Science) and Humanitites (Language Arts and Social Studies). Each content area is delivered to students using Flavor (Thematic) approaches where standards are taught immersed in that Flavor. The ideal teaching candidate for this position would be familiar with backwards planning and standards based teaching. Hands-on approaches, creativity, and choice for both students and teachers is a must in this role. This position requires data driven instruction and decision making along with collaboration in content teams to support all students.
