Summary
Teachers for Preschool class and Toddler Class at independent child care center. Hours TBD within normal business hours, Monday-Friday. You would work with a co-teacher to care for children age 12-42 months.
Duties
- Safety first! Supervise the classroom to keep the children safe.
- Play with the children - reading, buidling with blocks, dancing and singing, encouraging children in their free play, supervising outdoor play
- Care for children - washing hands, changing diapers, helping children to settle for nap, helping with meals
- Teach children - support their language acquisition by talking freely to them and assist with daily learning activities.
- Clean up - keep the classroom clean by following set cleaning schedule - mostly mealtime clean up
- Have fun with the children - snuggles, hugs, high-fives, fist bumps, and smiles are things that you will receive from the kiddos
