Position: Fiberglass Mold Maintenance Technician
Location: Knoxville, TN Manufacturing and Corporate Headquarters Island Campus
Role Overview:
We are looking for Fiberglass Mold Maintenance Technicians to help us maintain and repair molds used to construct fiberglass pools. This role is responsible for assisting in repairs of damage that may occur from the use of the molds, make modifications to molds and supporting framework, and assist in construction / reconstruction of molds
Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiar and comfortable with the use and operation of a variety of powered tools such as, grinders, drills, hammers, cutting tools, jigs, gauges, pneumatic tools, plus a variety of shop related equipment.
- Knowledge of chemical handling and the ability to use a variety of PPE for protection, such as knee pads, anti-slip socks, fall protection, and gloves.
- Ability to read and understand drawings for mold construction.
- Ability to climb, bend, and kneel in a variety of positions.
- Ability to pass respiratory testing and wear a full-face respirator
- Prior experience and understanding of fiberglass construction or auto body repair/detailing preferred.
