We are looking for a skilled Loading Specialist to join our Distribution North America team at our Millville, NJ Distribution Center and ensure the safe, efficient loading of fiberglass pools for delivery across the United States and Canada.
About the Role
As a Loading Specialist, you’ll handle the loading and unloading of fiberglass swimming pools and equipment, collaborating with other team members throughout the process. Your focus on safety, detail, and quality will help drive Explore Industries’ commitment to excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Load, unload, and move fiberglass swimming pools and equipment using specialized lifting equipment, following daily load plans for multi- and single-pool deliveries.
- Inspect pools for damage prior to loading and reporting issues for repair.
- Verify load configurations and dimensions, preparing completed loads for departure to the designated staging area.
- Assist with monthly inventory counts
- Ensure a safe clean working environment by enforcing standard operating procedures and maintaining an organized workspace.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
- Experience in use of Sky-Trak and/or crane operation.
- Heavy equipment operation experience.
- Safety certifications.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Understanding of safety guidelines for moving large objects.
- Attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Flexibility to shift priorities and adapt to daily task changes.
- Physical ability to stand, climb, stoop, bend, and operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
- Willingness to work overtime and in extreme indoor/outdoor conditions as needed.
