What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Security (Operations Technology) - Summer Internship position at Explorer Pipeline?
The OT Cyber Security Intern's focus will mainly be Information Technology systems and infrastructure as they relate to operational technology and will have an opportunity to be directly involved in numerous projects including but not limited to: PC Operating Systems upgrades, Software Upgrades, field device firmware upgrades, network infrastructure, cyber security and collaboration with the IT department.
Other Activities include:
- Assist with the configuration and deployment of critical OT infrastructure (HMIs)
- HMI PC software loading and configuration.
- HMI PC desktop support
- Documentation using network management systems.
- Documentation of network topologies and infrastructure diagrams.
- Implement and document critical updates and patches to HMIs, EWS’ and VM PCs
- Manage Users and Computers in the Active Directory on the Domain Controller
- Manage the inventory of computer hardware assets
- Manage the inventory of Microsoft software and versions
- Manage the inventory of Rockwell software licenses including Catalog #, Serial number and which dongle ID and PC the software is loaded on
- Manage the inventory of Autosol, ACM licenses; assist in transferring licenses when necessary
- Managing upgrade documentation and Management of Change documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful intern candidate will have:
- completed their college Sophmore year by this summer (degree focus should be in either Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Networking, Cyber Security, Information Systems Management, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field of study)
- be self-motivated
- a high level of verbal and written communication skills
- outstanding project execution capability
- ability to travel up to 10%
- must have own housing accommodation in or around the Tulsa Area
