Position Overview
We are seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant with a strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and administrative functions. This is a fully onsite role that requires multitasking, self-auditing, and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a passion for Human Resources, adept at managing day-to-day HR operations with precision and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
- Paperwork Processing: Handle and process all HR-related paperwork, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and benefits documentation.
- FMLA and Workers' Compensation: Ensure compliance with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Workers' Compensation regulations, maintaining accurate records and timely reporting.
- Recruitment Support: Assist with recruiting tasks such as posting job openings, coordinating interviews, and tracking candidate progress.
- Payroll Processing: Support payroll administration by ensuring timely and accurate data entry, handling employee time tracking, and resolving payroll issues in coordination with the Payroll Department.
- Self-Audits: Conduct internal audits of HR files and processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Executive and Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR team and company executives, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
Qualifications
- HR Expertise: Strong knowledge of HR practices, compliance, and paperwork processes, with a minimum of 5 years in an HR administrative role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service and maintaining confidentiality.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS or payroll systems.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
