Job Summary
The role of the Director of Coaching and Sales Support is a sales-focused position and is to ensure Franchisee success. This is achieved through monitoring sales and supporting each franchise through coaching and training. In this role, you will use programs and corporate-sponsored resources and tools to assist Franchisees with improving their gross margin dollar and client count.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with franchisees on sales strategies to achieve desired levels of production and profitability.
- Conduct consistent and recurring virtual coaching calls with new and resale franchisees.
- Demonstrate effective coaching techniques, increase sales activity, and build productive habits through a 26-week program.
- Provide sales support by coaching, training, and consulting franchisees at all development stages.
- Work collaboratively with developers and franchisees to create strategic game plans and assist with implementation.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to coach and influence franchisees to make decisions that positively impact sales success and office growth.
- Strong coaching, training, problem-solving, and motivational skills.
- Proven experience in sales and management.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
- Analytical skills to understand and interpret pricing, gross margin figures, and profitability.
- Proven track record in growing sales, managing P&L, and developing internal staff.
- Flexibility, tenacity, foresight, intuition, and effective communication skills.
- Ability to produce and conduct customized training for franchisees and staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Strong presentation skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; will accept a high school diploma plus 15 years of sales experience with a staffing organization in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- At least 7 to 10 years of progressive staffing experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of sales and management experience.
Decision-Making:
- Full latitude to make decisions about processes and methodologies trained.
Supervision:
- Work independently using tools provided by Express. SVP of Sales Support coaches and guides the Director of Training and Sales Support.
Accuracy, Accountability, and Control:
- Possible errors may harm the company's reputation and/or cause financial hardship to the franchisee and organization.
- Accountability for offices meeting sales goals by keeping franchisees focused on essential sales functions needed for profitability.
- Results are achieved by working through others, with accountability ensured through consistent follow-up and follow-through.
Contacts:
- Regular contact with other departments, Zone VPs, developers, and franchisees.
- Maintain confidentiality of the Express system and owners' financial information and clients.
Specialized Skills or Technical Knowledge:
- Leadership and facilitation skills.
Confidential Information:
- Access to franchisee confidential information with stringent controls expected.
Working Conditions:
- Perform repetitive motion activities, sit for long periods in an office environment, and handle workload primarily through extensive use of Teams, telephone, email, and web design.
- Some travel required.
