Responsibilities
- Answer customers'' questions about products, prices, availability, and credit terms.
- Emphasize product features based on customers'' needs and technical knowledge of the product
- Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
- Enter orders into an automated system and pick customer order tickets.
- Merchandise and stock products on displays, self-service areas, and warehouses.
- Deliver products to customers as needed
- Verify deliveries.
- Load truck for customer deliveries.
- Keep warehouse and counter areas organized and presentable.
- Clean all areas of the building (e.g. sweeping, dusting, emptying trash, etc.)
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Strong computer skills are a must
- Required to be a team player and flexible
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to feel comfortable working in both an office and warehouse setting
- Ability to safely use a pallet jack and forklift
- Must be at least 21 years of age, due to driving requirements
